One & Candy tribute!
2:05 PM currently hooked onto this song, One, by Epik High, from their 5th Album: Pieces. Yes, the one with the showcase where Heechul went on with his facial hair! click here for the MV. haha Tablo's way too cool in it. and basically cos im biased towards him since he takes really good care of his dongsaengs in SJ and stood up for them when some antis started swearing at SJ. :D Tablo hwaiting! but his lyrics really jolt your inner organs man. i can hear my heart pounding when the songs starts playing. its THAT awesome. :D And Jung Rye Won's damn pretty inside! haha loved her from Samsoon days. but she kinda looks like she has some mental disorder =X no offence but she attempted suicide (well it looks like it to me) in the MV so its quite sad :( and the way she looks into the mirror is quite freaky! and creepy. haha but ♥ it anyhow. * haha another song which has been stuck on my head since yesterday is H.O.T's Candy. yeah very old song... but the SJ covers are soooo adorkable and cute i cannot tahan anymore! haha and hence i've incurred many injuries. yep nose bleeding, eyes hurting, lungs bursting, stomach cramping... all sorts man. asdsdjshjhgkjsd. (-┏) if you havent watched it, you're missing out on so much! haha the way the other girl pounces on Siwon is so cute.  whoa Hae! you've got a DSLR! so pro! ♥ thats Henry with his violin on the left, ZhouMi with his yellow & pink tank and a sheer shirt in the middle (hmmm.... neon colours?!) and Ryeowook with the stars hoodie. *  caught Definitely, Maybe with Chiew and Bel yesterday! it was a good movie! haha though it kinda sucked cos we went late and got 1st row seats. but the movie was cute. haha. somewhat cliched but i like the fact that they made it into a small little mystery that leaves you guessing what the ending's gonna be. haha. i definitely enjoyed it more than Street Kings. haha. Street Kings wasnt really my type and i fell asleep halfway! LOL. :Dwent to Bugis Street before that. Boyfriend shirts are all going so cheap at $10 now. haha its quite funny to see how the fashion fads die off so fast. wonder whats up next. haha. i should go online shopping more. 10:11 PM been busy with holiday scrap booking ideas since there seems to be an offer on photo prints and mum's bugging me to settle the china & korea pictures. which sucks cos i dont have much time to edit the leftover Shanghai pictures. sheesh. its like 3 mths already! haha sian. driving today was shat cos i got the relief again. once again, i narrated my whole story to mum and indeed she thinks he isnt very encouraging. bleah. my heart never pounded so fast before okay. which sucks. again, cos my confidence on the road has stooped to an all time low! FOR NOW. fortunately & hopefully. so anyway, i'm going to PS again tmr. ha! like 3 days in a row. ironic cos today this lcd surveyor guy asked me how frequent i visited PS and i was like, err once a month?? sigh. well. dinner with the lovely classmates tmr and Horton! okay. i wasnt very interested in Horton but since it has garnered raved reviews... maybe i shall open my sights to it then! but 3 days in a row is seriously super sian... :( i'm like dying to go abroad also please. i wanna go hk or tw!! sob sob. and settling all the uni applications have finally let me heave a sigh of relief... until all the letters of acceptance pour in or until i need to bury myself in frustration while i try to appeal for a place. esp with the news going about NTU's triple sharing system and the freshmen intake increasing this year and etc.  anw, watched Vantage Point with Chiew and Bel on Mon at PS. haha okay it was my idea since i wanted to spend my movie money... :S but i didnt know i was going to be there repeatedly for the next 2 days!okay, so VP was a rather interesting and amusing movie i'd say. but it's like unrealistic la... cos, Dennis Quaid really 死不了! as quoted from this guy beside me. haha. so they rewind the stories of different individuals a few times, like 5 or 6 times which gets you quite frustrated cos you keep seeing the same scenes except in different points of view. but still, it gets 悶 la. and every time it shows 12:00:00 pm, the whole cinema goes "URGHHHH~" haha damn funny. thought Matthew Fox was quite redundant. haha. :) i cant wait for Street Kings now! looks interesting. and hot hot hot hot hot KEANU REEVES is acting in it! omgosh those Speed days are still fresh in my mind. haha! so yes back to VP. felt like we kena cheated cos the movie wasnt exactly filmed in Salamanca, Spain as where the Plaza Mayor (where the whole plot begins) is located. so the film crew actually created a duplicate and filmed scenes in Mexico. like hello. different continents, dey! and haha there seemed to be many geographical goofs as well.  other than that, the plot was pretty creative, though resembling alot of the Ocean's series which i love oh-so-dearly. and the car chase scene was cool. haha. so those who havent watched it, keep your eyes peeled till that scene ends! and the funny thing in the goofs part was that i read Dennis Quaid was filmed driving in 1st gear through out. 12:44 AM  click to enlarge! i love love this picture! :Dsee the heart beside my name? haha! kh's didn't have though! ahhh! ♥♥♥小鬼! 黃鴻升 你幾時來新加坡啊！ ok some random pictures i took with my phone while testing the mosaic function. haha ok didnt turn out very nice cos they were taken from a mag. =X  56! haha 孟哲's face got disfigured man! i couldn't even recognize him at first sight! today was spent taking my cheque from the Sentosa Flowers job and then meeting Chiew at Amoy for lunch! ahhh the nasi lemak was as good as usual. but... again... the drumsticks were sold out! :( and although we came earlier than the prev time, there was no more egg! sad sad. anyhow the nice Uncle gave me 1 more otah and 1 fish cake to replace the egg. and more ikan billis! haha super nice and yummy.  met Bel at Bugis after that for Step Up 2. haha. So... it was pretty good. for the dance moves. storyline was typical. haha. some dance scenes were really commendable. yes yes, such as the one with Channing Tatum battling against the female lead. haha the trampoline in the middle of the floor was cool man. and the rain scene. which is the climax la. but it seems like they danced on mats and not the real streets. haha cheat! but okay since it'll be slippery and they'll get injuries and stuff.so basically it had no link to the first instalment. it was okay i guess. the normal eye candy and the female lead and blah blah. hmmmm. been catching movies lately that lack proper, strong storylines which will leave hard impressions on you. rah! nvm next week's Vantage Point with Chiew and Bel! haha. pretty many nice movies coming up soon. anyhow Bugis Street's getting boring selling the same type of clothes. am so desperate to get clothes that are hardly found in sg anyway. darn! like so little F21 sprees nowadays. i need retail therapy! :( and so so so craving for sushi! :( haha some cute ___ ___ was on the train today! and then that ___ went to buy Ya Kun! haha 0_0 funny please. reminded me of the one i saw in tw. :( i miss tw badly too! rawr! oh ya cant stand the rain these few days man. whats wrong with this monsoon weather! bleah. it makes it so difficult to go out. pity those taking their TP these few days. i hope it doesnt rain when its my turn :( okay i kinda salvaged this layout on IE! hopefully it still works out. if it doesnt, it means IE isn't as good as Firefox! :S haha go get Firefox! :D Donnerstag, Februar 21

REALLY, GO WATCH IT. i declare it nicer than Jumper AND Juno! haha. love the song man. its so sweet. and and they filmed it in IRELAND! haha Westlife's hometown! :D lol. and Westlife is Holly's favourite band, in the book that is. yep... its just so heart-warming as well. am reading the book now! haha thanks to bel who bought it. hmmmm. i guess once again i'll prefer the adaptation more. hah! Gerard Butler really reminds me of the Spanish guy on AMI. haha the one that kept kissing everybody. and his accent is so not Irish, more like Spanish! Jumper such a confusing movie where all they do is jump, jump, jump. right. haha although Tokyo was very much chocolate for the eyes and Rome and Italy as well... it was basically a movie which lacked a firm storyline. and it just hangs there right at the end. :S yeah there's supposed to be a Jumper 2. i guess its great for travel buffs like me in one sense, you get to see filming locations such as Tokyo, Italy, Rome, Egypt and Mexico, besides USA and Canada. wonder how much they blew on it man. sigh but this big-budget movie was ruined by the horrible plot. bah! okay, gotta admit the effects were good but it got kinda sickening after awhile cos of the jumping around. haha. ah well, Hayden Christensen's good exercise for the eyes. hah. xxxxx anyway i finally got on the road today. whoa stressful man. and some taxi horned at me! argh! just cos i moved off too slowly. well not really but then i didnt see the green light, and like 1 sec later he horned alr la! walaoeh! learner driver cannot see meh!? *!&@*!&@*&! okay. haha. apologize for the ranting. and becos of that i stalled. isnt it worse for pressurizing a learner driver! tskkkkk. haha chiew said they want learner drivers to fail so they wont lose potential customers, if not people will drive themselves around already. hah!i just hope i wont need to go up to gear 4 unless i'm trained well enough. if not sure panic at junctions one, with the gear-shifting and clutch-engaging. sigh. today was spent hanging out with the girls :) missed those times man! and i miss school! going back for the choir con to support Mei! yep. i think results are out next week. ah! :0 Labels: movie, music, stressed Freitag, Februar 15

8:23 PM urgh the horrigible incorrigible viruses omnipresent in the air kinda disgusts me every time i think of them. once again, oh great world, i'm sick. yes for that record the past 3 times in the prev 2 weeks i was sick were all before i had to report to work! bleah. whats wrong with my immune system. dammnit shit. and because of my throat infection plus idunnowhatelse, i couldnt send Elis off! :( she's on her way now to Perth anyway and i wish her all the best in whatever she does :)  Juno's (click) been such a cute movie with those indie rock tunes that gives a whole lot of other feeling into the movie. go watch it! its realllly nice. haha. next up shall be P.S I Love You! 9:24 PM  and so there we went to watch Hairspray.it was fantastic! hahah real cool show, would have enjoyed it much more except that i was almost falling asleep. such a pity.6 hours of papers can seriously kill. and im like falling sick already. :( anyhow, Hairspray's dope man! haha. 11:42 PM ok maybe i was exaggerating. OotP wasnt a minor disaster, i forgot the good parts of the film. the effects and cgi were really magnificent (though losing out to transformers!) heh. spielberg is king. :P yes, go for OotP for the effects, i felt like i should do some justice to the film on the whole and not the book. well, after watching "The Making Of OotP" and yeap. i realized the hard work that the effects had to be put through. i guess, the film shouldnt stick fully to the book then, if not it'll be just the book coming to life. twists are needed and hence creating shocks and controversies that people like me would dislike. HAH. oh wells. busy week ahead. so much for looking forward to every weekend. dim sum lunch @ Noble House in Shenton Way with family! :D saw my 3 nieces and cousins. wonderful time being able to reunite with the extended family once again. esp seeing my 90-yr old Grandpa! He's damn zai la. holding his chopsticks much better than the younger generations even! got pictorial proof -- soon! shopping at vivo after that. river island sale :D S-A-L-E. the 4 letter word that makes shopaholics pupils dilate. lol. as usual, i chionged into the shop trying to find good bargains! got a pair of jeans! ^^ yay. and a nice top = 100$. retail therapy + sales = FEELING GOOD. flames to dust, lovers to friends. why do all good things come to an end? 1:17 AM well... the past week has been pretty amazing. ;) heh.  Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenixanyhow, the wonderfully proclaimed OotP was in fact A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. well, like this guy @ imdb said, if you're a sucker for the plot to follow gentle details from the book, then i suggest you shouldn't watch it with the impression that it'll follow the book to a T. HAHAH. it was just released thurs so i shall not spoil it further. nvm! 23's going for the 'film appreciation' at Eng Wah during Learning Fest for another dosage of the lame kissing scenes and more dissing/complementing! HAHA. i was grumbling bout the small little details in the movie to Simino today and she seemed aggrieved that many impt parts went missing. oh well, 138 mins is super freaking short for a Potter film. it does unjust to the book! :( like they said, longest book, shortest film. hah! how ironical. besides that, Learning Fest seems optimistic. 23's going to the zoo! :D yay. class excursion to the zoo. (a cheaper class outing alternative. lmao) i cant wait to go to the zoo la! mum wanted to bring me there in june (or the night safari or underwater world) but i knew it was never gonna happen with our clashing busy schedules. so yes, now's a fantastic opportunity to do so! :D and in the midst of relieving our childhood. we're gonna see how the zoo makes food for the animals! :D cool right! then we're gonna learn about the Rubik's cube thing and yeah some personality profiling course within the school. though Potter #5 was a minor disaster, (im praying #6 would be improved, and hopefully the screenplay would be better...though by the same director) as quoted from wikipedia, lol. all the Davids. heh. i shall try to read the book asap to help drown my disappointment. hah. meeting up the royals for Potter was great though! :D managed to divert my attention from the misgivings of #5 (ok fine, it wasnt THAT bad). had sushi tei for dinner and crapped about all the random stuff again. lol! guess the next time we can meet will be after A's. with prelims looming around at week 9. omgosh! friday the 13th was probably slightly unlucky cos i almost got hit by this falling huge seed from a tree. it was approx. 20cm in length, 8cm in width and 3cm in thickness (it was huge!) and then it fell from this tall tree of about 2 storeys high when i was walking to the other bus stop (near CHIJ Pri) whilst listening to my ipod. amazingly i turned behind to look for oncoming buses and then it dropped, and hit my arm. kinda made a cut there and smashed into 2 upon hittting the concrete pavement (quite a big impact la huh). :S imagine if i had walked straight instead of turning my body to look behind, i'd probably get hit right on the head and just collapse. HAH. it kinda caused searing pain but i just walked forward like nothing happened. and, there were people walking behind too. no altruism was shown in trying to warn me about the damn giganormous seed but oh well. at least im fortunate to be still live and kicking. there's an ugly scar on my arm now. bah, i hope it heals fast. :( Labels: angst, eats, experiences, movie, royals, 感想 Donnerstag, Juli 5

11:48 PM finally got to spend the day out at town albeit some confusing thoughts during the history paper which distracted me, but anyhow it was an eventful day spent! :D travelled to Raffles City with zhentang for some Donut Factory! yummy! tong was there already (thanks man!) so we queued for like 1 hr 15 mins (hahah damn long stoning) before getting our hands on the highly-rated donuts! they are so not over-rated, its really damn yummy cos its not too sweet not too oily and you'll never get sick of them unless you eat 1 dozen in 1 shot la. zhentang bought 3 dozens, tong 2 and i got a pathetic 1. met banana there earlier. she was more pathetic. half a dozen. == queue for so long for half dozen!? haha. sian leh. had to carry my donuts all around orchard... quite irritating especially when the box is like rectangular and people will inevitably knock their legs into it. so, that kinda made me paranoid cos i was so afraid it'll knock into each other or something. haha. went to Asian Kitchen at City Link after that for lunch! the 炸醬面 is pretty nice! so full after that. left shortly later to meet belinda at far east cos i wanted to find my shoes. haha in the end the shop wasnt there anymore! oh man so sad :( mum had agreed to sponsor me previously and now it seems like my shoes have flown away... and then we saw from across the street Mango had sale, so we crossed the road to Shaw. going up the escalator, belinda suddenly said, "eh lets watch a movie" and then at the spur of the moment, we decided to catch this...  TRANSFORMERS!it was a superb movie omg i wouldnt mind watching it again! but just not drinking too much during the movie. haha! if not lubrication would occur. LOL. Bumblebee almost made me cry la! haha i was like trying to calm myself down behind my jacket lol. really, i'd rate it 6/5 stars! it exceeds it man! haha. its Optimus Prime's colours up there. i shall pretend its PURPLY-BLUE. haha. 1:22 PM for a few hours the past 2 days, there was some sense of freedom. short-lived that is. ah well, sch's gonna be back to normal tomorrow, with the chionging of tutorials and tuition work. and maybe more tuition schedules coming right up..... anyhow i've got so many shows to watch! my lappy's being overused once again. haha. there's
lol. i wanna watch 轉角 again! though i think i'll probably end up crying more with all the drama scenes. haha.. ah well. friday. physics ended with a "never mind, we shall resurrect. HAHAHAHA." quote from lwt. HAHA. that was funny man. goodness. then went to ps food court to eat with the guys. before heading down to vivo with the girls for Mr Bean's Holiday. haha.  it was damn lame la. he's just too suay man. really super suay... but oh well, that's Mr Bean for you.haha but the small boy was cute! although at first i thought he was some cancer patient or something. =/ anyhow, i was laughing like siao @ GV Max. haha. the whole (almost) of s24 were there too! so bonded la! haha we were envious man. and then walked around and had Thai Express for dinner. i busted 5 bucks at candy empire just for 10 pieces of chocolate! so sinful! but its some personal reward i guess. lol! came home and konked on the bed and i missed survivor! :( saturday. yesterday was a total slack day. went to chinatown first and wanted to cut hair but the queue was long, so decided to have lunch and chiong for training first. after training went to Vivo to meet mum and i coincidentally met Sharon there! had fun talking to her. haha rakes up so many wonderful memories... sigh! and then went off back to Chinatown for some hair cutting. haha oh man my hair's like pretty short now. hmmm. though i just wanted to thin it. then mum suggested going to Central so we went there to shop and have dinner. although like on 9feb there werent many things there, ahaha there were more this time. memories of the pig! sob! yep. bought a pair of shoes ^^! and some other trivial stuff etc. then had food court for dinner! oh man! the korean food rocks!!! :D super yummy! the jap food there looks damn nice too! but the korean food is ultimate la! everyone should go try it. and the serving's damn good too. haha 2 people can share 1 hotstone mixed rice which is 7$. and my fave durian ice kachang! yummilicious! ah. food again. =X and the coincidental thing was i met Sharon at Central again! haha someone told me Central got nothing nice to see lorrr. hahah. lol. funny man. and then i came home for some kone indulgence in 周日8點黨. and then i fell asleep again! 2 nights in a row! haha i saved electricity bills cos i didnt wake up to switch on the air con! lol. ah well. i guess that's about all. what a boring short-lived freedom enjoyment for 2 days. there's math tuition soon! ah sucky. something to look forward to:  wah lao! the trailer was damn shiok la! 10:40 PM i havent updated for long. okay my 2 days is considered long. the girls came over for sleepover on tues night. we had fun watching cellular. haha. and making a fool of ourselves in the hall and blah blah. and some NICE friend went to talk to you-know-who la! walao disguise as me! :( its not true man!!! anw... haha then we watched some 惡魔在身邊 while i ran through my 轉角 4! yay! =) it rocks. haha. my speed's pretty fast now though the port got some connection problem. ugh. yep. and 食神 is out! haha omgosh 不辣不辣 is seriously so un-56. :( nvm. then after that there was some 13 going on 30. haha jen garner is so hilarious. but i fell asleep halfway cos i was so tired the night before chionging gp presentation! i slept at 2am can! was like half-conscious during math lecture anyway. then after that came home and slept and waited for the girls to came. haha we pigged out on lays and pringles. yums! and green tea. :P healthy. haha! and then i fell asleep with my winnie the pooh styrofoam-balled toy and cy was like "oh my! my friend turned into winnie the pooh!" and then i fell asleep after that. haha it was about 1+ i think. the rest slept close to 3. lol! i was bushed man. then we kinda woke up late for x country. but managed to chiong down on time la. and i ran the 3.6km la! sheesh. okay not really run but like run and walked abit. haha. then i was having pretty bad dizzy spells during tuition after that. and a real bad headache. had to skip training and came home to rest. and justin came in 23rd for guys! well done dude! the girls ended up at my place after lunch as they had to take their bags but lena wasnt feeling too well... hope you're better! i didnt food poison you did i? =X haha. i guess not since the rest are perfectly fine. :P  and then night time was pan's labyrinth with simino. such a freaky show! i wonder what 伏筆s there were that ms tan was talking about. its freaky and yet, erm... intriguing. haha.go watch it. or get the vcd/dvd! really worth. its world-acclaimed! and i heard there was a 20 min standing ovation at the Cannes Film Fest i think. COOL HUH. pretty much my 2nd nc16 movie i watched. i think. it was quite gory in fact. and it was cut. :( the uncut sg version is R21. yeah and then went home after that. was so tired i fell asleep without doing anything. today was quite slack, except for the usual thursdays-chiong-history schedule. damnit. and someone seemed to be menopausing. and pe was softball. we got thrashed by the other team. i batted twice and i only ended up at 2nd and 3rd base respectively after 2 switches, and before i could make it back, there were like 3 out already. so we had to switch over. :( i miss 2e7 softball! and im not done with gp compre today. sheesh. math test tmr. jiayou sherlene. some pics soon. |
